Ingredients

  • 1 Squash Choose your Favorite! Acorn or butternut squash recommended
  • 1 cup Casa Alvarez Foods Green Chile
  • Cooking Oil or Butter

Instructions

  1. Cut squash in half.

  2. Remove seeds and score squash.

  3. Add 1 Tbsp oil or butter to each half of squash.

  4. Bake squash 350° F ~45min until soft.

  5. Take squash out of oven then scrape squash with spoon (careful it's HOT) and mix with 1 cup Casa Alvarez Green Chile.

  6. Add squash + green chile mixture back into squash shell and bake 15min.

  7. Remove from oven, garnish, and enjoy with your favorite chips. Fiesta Ready!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Casa Alvarez Foods chile verde
  • 2 Chicken breasts (or 1 rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 packet Corn tortillas
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 small package Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breasts all the way through. Or just use rotisserie chicken.

  2. Shred chicken in a bowl and mix in Casa Alvarez Foods green chile.

  3. Cover tortillas in hand towel or paper towel and heat in microwave until they are easy to fold without breaking.

  4. Fill the warm tortillas with chicken, green chile mixture (~2 Tbs/tortilla), and fold or roll taco. Pin it with a toothpick.

  5. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat stove top.

  6. Place tacos into hot pan, and fry them until golden brow.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Casa Alvarez Green Chile
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 Cup Casa Alvarez Green Chile, stove-top, in pot until bubbling.

  2. Stir in 1 cup shredded cheese, ½ cup sour cream or Greek Yogurt.

  3. Mix all ingredients until cheese is melted and queso is nice creamy consistency.

  4. Serve, share and shake those hips because it’s queso time.

Recipe Notes

Dip tortillas chips or your favorite fresh crunchy veggies such as carrots, celery, or cauliflower. Or serve in a warm bread bowl. When the queso is flowing, invite your friends!
